The Amber Throne Password

About This Game After awakening from her coffin, Arra recalls little but the last words spoken by her father, “Destroy the Amber Throne.” Looking into the sky, she finds what was once his magnificent castle is now floating in the sky, far above the world below. Arra must find a way to reach the castle before others catch wind of it, lest the powerful Amber Throne fall into the wrong hands. Amber Throne is a traditional JRPG-styled game that focuses on turn-based battling and some light exploration. The game features a large cast of unique monsters that change stances depending on actions taken during combat, and a party with mostly mixed hybrid roles to deal with them. Learning monster behavior and how your skills affect them is essential to reaching victory. Fully painted world with diverse settings and unique characters. Many monsters with multiple stances and behaviors to master. Five party members each with their own skills and advantages. Crafting for the game's best equipment and items. 12-15 hour-long story with optional content and exploration. The game is a bit more atmospheric and ambient than most JRPG-styled games, with emphasis on theme and mood, hopefully making it feel a bit different to experience!ControlsShift to RunArrow Keys to MoveZ / Enter to ConfirmX / Esc For Main Menu Or CancelF5 For FullscreenD+hold For Skipping Dialogue 7aa9394dea Title: The Amber ThroneGenre: Adventure, Casual, Indie, RPGDeveloper:Joshua MissilePublisher:Joshua MissileRelease Date: 6 Jul, 2015 The Amber Throne Password Story is nice, but somewhat confusing at some points. 7/10Graphics is nice, but i wasn't that blown away. I felt like it was lacking some details. Good looking, but not gorgeous. Same goes for the music. 8/10Gameplay. Very basic and shallow. very small skill tree, very "dumb" combat, but not grindy or annoying. 5/10(Also very very very easy when you explore the whole world and stay up to snuff with your levels)Facit: If you want to play a fantasy rpg and got nothing better, you can't go wrong with The Amber Throne, cause its really doing everything fine a rpg has to to, but don't expect anything breathtaking, which is why i wouldnt recommend it.Advice: Don't try to explore the world too much. there is no interesting additional dialogue aside from the main story and trying to find equipment and/or gold is not worth it. Also it might keep you somewhat underleveled, so the combat is actually a bit challenging.. Everything about this game is at least slightly original, but not that great. The story and dialog are poetically nonsensical.. Why i vote no, cause free but trial 5 days. Yeah, if u said is free fo Al, NO!!! If u wanna get free dont instaled.. Don't listen to the people who complain about game breaking bugs; the only thing I came across was a black screen once, and finding my way out of the room fixed it immediately. That said, this is probably one of the best games I've played this year. The visuals and soundtrack are some of the best I have ssen in any game, period, and I daresay you should try it on that basis alone, especially if it's on sale. The only few bad things I would say are that the story is pretty confusing/too cryptic until (for me at least) the very last section of the game, when everything just clicked, and when it did I loved it. The other thing is the numbers in attack descriptions seem off; one attack said it did 40% damage to one enemy three times, but after using it through an entire section of the game I'm certain it is less (incedentally the character with that skill is kinda useless, just so you know). Overall though this has been one hell of a game, and even if you don't generally go in for JRPGs/turn based combat, I would heartily recommend it.. The best playable concept art I've ever seen. Also only.. With just a few hours playing (offline so no time displayed) I can safely say that is more to this game then just a beautiful aesthetic. I haven't played a RPG that has reworded exploration in a long while and thankfully the amber throne scratches that itch, if it is off the beaten path expect to be rewarded. Be it through simple items and experience to entire bits of story details about the world. As far as the combat is concerned there is a neat form mechanic that makes combat a little more engaging then standard RPGs. Some enemies have different attributes that can be effected by your parties special moves, ex being if a enemy has Armour use a defense debuff to remove it. I feel that if a game dosent grab your attention almost immediately then it may not be worth it in the end, but thankfully The Amber Throne quickly grabbed mine and hasn't let go.
